Feb. 3, 3:10 a.m.
Bush Center
The Central Plant staff member reported a crack in the Bush Center pool drain causing the unsteady water levels. The crack was later fixed before the pool was in use.
Feb. 4, 4:55 p.m.
Old Main
There was standing water reported in a first floor office in Old Main. Facilities Services and custodial staff was contacted for further assistance.
February 5, 6:59 p.m.
Anderson Center
A staff member at the Anderson Center reported a suspicious individual on the first floor making students feel uncomfortable. The individual left the building already before the Officers’ arrival to the building.
February 7, 9:05 p.m.
Manor Residence Hall
A student reported the second floor card reader in Manor Residence Hall broken. An Officer confirmed that the card reader was dead with exposed wires. The wires were secured until a contractor was able to fix the reader.
February 9, 10:36 a.m.
Law/Heights Lot E
A vehicle with three previous tickets without a permit was booted in the Law/Heights Lot E. The boot was taken off later when the vehicle owner was identified.
February 9,10:27 p.m.
Drew Residence Hall
A fire alarm went off for the second floor of Drew Residence Hall. Officers determined that the fire alarm was accidentally set off and reset the system.
February 10, 2:44 p.m.
East Hall
A vending machine was reported to have been broken into at East Hall. Officers confirmed that the vending machine was broken into. The vending company was contacted and a report was written.
Crime Prevention Tips:
– Please be aware of your surroundings. This is important in the winter because roads and walkways can become icy.
– Keep your car in good condition, with the tank at least half full.
– Report any suspicious activity to the Office of Safety & Security.
– Call for a safety escort 24 hours a day at x2100.
