“As a student who is currently remote and at home, I find the shift in Hamline’s COVID-19 Preparation to be really good news. It is clear that members of the Hamline community are working hard to not create spikes in transmission rates. However, even with this shift in mind, we cannot remain complacent and ignore public health measures. Keep wearing your mask (over your nose!), social distance, and make wise choices! Hopefully, we’ll return to some level of normalcy. But, we still have work to do!”

“It’s nice to know that we’re moving in the right direction, and with the vaccine rollout underway, we have reason to be hopeful.  But we have to remain vigilant and not let our guard down, as one lapse can change everything.  Masks are our friends!  The more we remain safe and follow the guidelines, the faster we can return to normal, which will be a cause for jubilant celebration.”

I think that dropping down to level 2 is a good step towards moving forward. Also, I think that it might have been a little too soon to drop so low since we will probably get another surge of cases.
