Though the campus is buried in snow and blown with chilling winds, students still dress to impress every day. Between big coats, fuzzy hats and layers upon layers, here are just a few winter fashion styles to be seen around campus throughout this season.

Senior Madison Wagner draws inspiration from her best friend Amanda.

“She’s taught me to have more fun with my style,” Wagner said. Dressed with bright green earrings and a big leopard coat, Wagner showcased her love for statement pieces and highlighted her mixed style that is “a little bit androgynous and…  a little bit of fun.”

Junior Sherina Dyrma dresses for both comfort and confidence, choosing clothing that makes her feel good. Her strong following of many fashion pages on Instagram inspire her own style that she describes as a mix of modern fashion brands and that of her Albanian culture.

“I like playing with colors,” Dyrma said. “And with… blacks and whites.”

First-year Reid Luskey’s fashion is not one from this era. Dressed in his grandfather’s coat, his father’s scarf and his own hat, Luskey describes his fashion sense as “a generational type of collage.” His inspiration comes from his grandfather.

“My grandfather… was inspired by Duke Ellington [and] Frank Sinatra – the great jazz attire from the 30s and 40s,” Luskey said.
