General Information

The Oracle is an independent student newspaper of the undergraduate population of the College of Liberal Arts at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Oracle receives its funding from and is published by the Student Media Board, which serves as an umbrella organization for The Liner, the university's yearbook, and The Fulcrum, the university's literary magazine.

The Oracle was founded in 1888 and has been published regularly ever since. The paper began as a monthly journal of letters and evolved into a modern weekly college newspaper over the years.

Over a century of our archives are available for viewing on microfilm on the second floor of Bush Library on campus.
